The annual “Best Little AirSho in Texas” has been hosted by the Coyote Squadron since 1999, featuring restored vintage airplanes from the World War II era.
The Coyote Squadron, a unit of the Commemorative Air Force (CAF), operates from C. David Campbell field (Corsicana Municipal Airport), which itself began as a pilot training center during World War II. Each year, dozens of vintage military aircraft, which are privately owned or operated by other units of the CAF, are flown into Corsican’s airport. Take a step back into history and enjoy a close-up look of the vintage aircraft and displays, as well as experiencing the thrilling aerobatic demonstrations. A highlight of the AirSho is the afternoon departure of all the aircraft, one right after another.
The Republican Party of Navarro County is sponsoring a booth at the Corsicana AirSho.
We need volunteers to work two-hour shifts:
09:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
11:00 a.m. to 01:00 p.m.
