DESCRIPTION:6:00pm – 8:00pm \nThe Republican Party Of Navarro County will hold an Executive Committee Special Meeting on Tuesday October 8\, 2019 at 6:30 pm at the RPNC headquarters located at 111-B West Third Avenue in downtown Corsicana. \nFormer State Senator Konni Burton will be speaking on the issues with today’s media coverage and impact this has on our candidates\, political issues\, and elections. \nKonni Burton is Founder and CEO of “The Texan\,” a statewide news outlet focused on the stories that matter most to Texans and their pocketbook.  Previously\, she was a grassroots activist who worked on numerous campaigns for local\, state\, and federal races.  Konni then ran for public office herself and was elected in 2014 to serve Tarrant County’s State Senate District 10 in Austin.  Her experience as a grassroots activist. elected official\, and taxpaying citizen provides a unique and valuable perspective on the political landscape of Texas. \nPlease join us for a social from 6:00pm to 6:30pm\, saluting our elected officials. \nAll registered voters are welcome to attend.
