DESCRIPTION:Saturday May 21\, 2022\nAfghanistan Medal of Honor holder William D. Swenson will be the Grand Marshall of the Texas Veterans Parade on Armed Forces Day\, Saturday morning May 21 in Corsicana.  The parade will honor current and past Military Veterans from all wars and conflicts. \nThe 2022 parade will begin at 10:00 am at the Gold Star Families Monument on the northwest lawn of the Navarro County Courthouse.  It will lead-off with honor guard and the world famous Navarro College Cheerleaders of Netflix fame. \nSwenson will be honored the Palace Theater on Friday evening May 20 before the Parade. \nFor more information\, call Elizabeth Green Brown at (214) 537-9311. \nThe Republican Party of Navarro County has registered an entry in the 2022 Texas Veterans Parade — to show our support for our veterans.  We invite veterans\, whom are able-bodied enough\, to ride with us during the downtown parade route.  Please contact Chairman Steve Jessup if your interested at (903) 872-6287 or chairman@navgop.org.
