SUMMARY:Texas Veterans Parade 2023
DESCRIPTION:Saturday April 22\, 2023\nAfghanistan Navy Seal and NASA Chief Astronaut Chris Cassidy will be the Grand Marshall of the Texas Veterans Parade on San Jacinto Weekend\, Saturday morning April 22 in Corsicana.  The parade will honor current and past Military Veterans from all wars and conflicts.\n\nThe 2023 parade will begin at 10:00 am at the Gold Star Families Monument on the northwest lawn of the Navarro County Courthouse.  The Medal of Honor Program at The Collin Club in Corsicana starts at 6:00 pm on Friday night\, April 21\, 2023\, before the parade.\n\nThe parade will also honor two Corsicana and Navarro County heroes\, Candelario “Spider” Garcia\, 2014 Medal of Honor recipient\, and the namesake of our county\, Jose Antonio Navarro\, who signed both the Texas Declaration of Independence and the Texas Constitution.\n\nFor more information\, call Elizabeth Green Brown at (214) 537-9311.\n\nThe Republican Party of Navarro County has an entry in the parade.  Please join us at 9:00 am Saturday April 22 at the Navarro Center / Brookshires parking lot on North Main Street to participate in the parade.
