SUMMARY:Texas Veterans Parade 2024
DESCRIPTION:Vietnam Medal of Honor Mike Thornton will be the Grand Marshall of the Texas Veterans Parade on Veterans Day weekend\, Saturday morning November 9 in Corsicana.  The parade will honor current and past Military Veterans from all wars and conflicts. \n\n\n\nThe 2024 parade will begin at 10:00 am at the Gold Star Families Monument on the northwest lawn of the Navarro County Courthouse.  The parade will finish at Corsicana Government Center\, where a Col. William Barrett Travis Alamo Letter Plaque will be dedicated on the front steps by MOH Mike Thornton. The Medal of Honor Program at the Navarro College Cook Center starts at 6:00 pm on Friday night\, November 8\, 2024\, before the parade. \n\n\n\nFor more information\, (845) 492-9857 or call Aaron Johnson at (903) 879-4177. \n\n\n\nThe Republican Party of Navarro County has an entry in the parade.  Please join us at the My Garage Self Storage parking lot\, 801 North 13th Street\, Corsicana\, across the street from Brookshires gas station\, between 8:30am and 9:00am tomorrow Saturday morning November 9 for parade check-in.  Old-timers will recognize this location as the former K-Mart parking lot.  Parade line-up begins at 9:00am.  We have been placed in the middle of the parade order. Parade begins at 10:00am.
