Saturday November 8, 2025 First Day to file for candidates to file for public office on the 2026 Republican Primary Election March 3.  Republican Headquarters will be open November 8 from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. All other filings during the filing period must be done by appointment with the RPNC. Before any preliminary campaign expenses, file your "Appointment of Treasurer" form with the Elections Administrator, 601 North 13th Street, Corsicana.  These expenses include your filing fee. There will be a notary present.

First Saturday of December The Republican Party of Navarro County has an entry in the Corsicana "Festival Of Lights" Christmas Parade.  Please join us at 4:30 pm Saturday December 6, 2025 at the Navarro Center / Brookshires parking lot at 800 North Main Street to participate in the parade.   Check-in is 4:30 pm.  Parade staging begins at 5:00 pm.   The parade through Corsicana downtown streets will begin at 6:00 pm.

On Tuesday December 9 at approximately 9:21 am, incumbent Criminal District Attorney Will Thompson submitted his Certificate Of Withdrawal from the 2026 Republican Primary Election, which is the last day for candidate withdrawal. Per Texas Election Code 145.001 and Texas Secretary of State Election Advisory 2025-14, the filing period for the Criminal District Attorney position has been extended five days which will carryover into Monday December 15, 2025 until 6:00 pm. County Chair Steve Jessup will be available on Monday to receive new DA candidate filings.

The Drawing for order of candidate name placement on the March 3, 2026 Navarro County Republican Primary Election Ballot will be conducted Thursday, December 18 at 6:30 pm at Republican Headquarters, 111-B West Third Avenue in downtown Corsicana.

The Republican Party Of Navarro County will their regularly scheduled Executive Committee Meeting on Monday January 10, 2026 at 6:30 pm at the RPNC headquarters located at 111-B West Third Avenue in downtown Corsicana. Candidates for the March 3, 2026 Republican Primary Election will be presenting their introductions (maximum 4 minutes to speak). Monday, February 5, 2024 February 2 is the last day to register to vote, which is 30 days before the March 3, 2026 Republican Primary Election.
