Although re-districting maps have been approved and signed Tuesday October 25 by the Governor, specific precinct lines have not been drawn.  The County Commissioners will have until December 31, 2021 to approve precinct boundaries.  Senate Bill SB13 states that Precinct Chair filing will be temporarily suspended at 11:59 pm on the Wednesday evening of December 1. December 13th, 2021,  at 6:00 PM CST will be the last day to file for Public Office.  Republican Headquarters will be open from 12:00 PM through 6:00 PM for any last minute filings. Republican Headquarters, 111-B West Third Avenue, Corsicana TX 75110 Filing by mail must also be received by mail at 6:00 PM on December 13th, 2021.  Cashiers checks are required for filing fees paid within the last five days prior to December 13 to insure sufficient funds.
