Saturday November 11, 2023 First Day to file for candidates to file for public office on the 2022 Republican Primary Election March 5.  Republican Headquarters will be open November 11 from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. All other filings during the filing period must be done by appointment with the RPNC. Before any preliminary campaign expenses, file your "Appointment of Treasurer" form with the Elections Administrator, 601 North 13th Street, Corsicana.  These expenses include your filing fee. There will be a notary present.

Saturday November 18  --  9:00 am to 1:00 pm Building Blocks For Liberty will be teaching their Constitution 101 class (boot camp) on Saturday November 18, 2023 from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm at Republican Headquarters, 111-B West Third Avenue, in downtown Corsicana. There is no charge for the class, however a headcount is needed to provide sufficient materials and lunch.  Please contact RPNC Chairman Steve Jessup if you plan to attend at [email protected]. First Saturday of December The Republican Party of Navarro County has an entry in the Corsicana "Festival Of Lights" Christmas Parade.  Please join us at 4:30 pm Saturday December 2, 2023 at the Navarro Center / Brookshires parking lot at 800 North Main Street to participate in the parade.   Check-in is 4:30 pm.  Parade staging begins at 5:00 pm.   The parade through Corsicana downtown streets will begin at 6:00 pm.

December 11, 2023 December 11th, 2023  at 6:00 PM CST will be the last day to file for Public Office.  Republican Headquarters will be open from 10:00 AM through 6:00 PM for any last minute filings. December 21, 2023 The order of candidate names for the March 5, 2024 Primary Election Ballot will be drawn on Thursday December 21 at 6:30 pm at Republican Headquarters, 111-B West Third Avenue in downtown Corsicana.

Saturday January 13, 2024 David W. Luther, Waller County Chair and TRCCA President, has traveled all over the state to equip and energize Precinct Chairs, to prepare for the 2024 elections.  This training is relevant to our current political crises. Precinct Training will be held at Republican Headquarters, 111-B West Third Avenue, in downtown Corsicana from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm.  Lunch will be served.

6:00 pm -- 8:00 pm The Republican Party of Navarro County and The NavCo Chronicle are hosting a Candidate Forum on Thursday February 15, 2024, beginning at 6:00 pm at the Republican Headquarters, located at 111-B West Third Avenue in downtown Corsicana.  The NavCo Chronicle will livestream the event on their Facebook page. Republican candidates in the March 5, 2024 Primary Eelction competitive races (or their representatives) will be interviewed one at a time, according to the political office they are seeking.
